The Museum of Missing history is the museum of the mysteriously missing pieces to the puzzle of the past.  It tells the exciting and often amazing stories of historic objects that have been lost to us over the centuries and are out there now waiting to be re-discovered!

It’s a treasure hunt for knowledge. A missing painting, a book, a name; any of these things could be the key that will open a doorway to an exciting and enlightening moment in history.  History is full of unsolved mysteries and cold cases.  Do you have a clue?

In many cases time is not on our side.  Some these things may be rotting in basements or stuck out in someone’s barn.  We just don’t know.  You can help by exploring our Catalogue of Missing Objects and by sharing the Museum with your friends.
