MOMH makes contribution to Degas scholarship
5 Feburary 2008
The Museum of Missing History is proud to announce that in our earliest days we have already made a contribution to scholarship. A woman in England's memory of seeing Degas works at a hotel in Beirut while she was an airline stewardess in the early 1970's is "intriguing information" to a leading scholar. New MOMH website goes LIVE!
5 February 2008
What is news at the Museum of Missing History is the new website that you're looking at. The site was designed by James Massey, a recent graduate of the Industrial Design program at San Francisco State University.
The new site went live on February 1 and we continue to tweak it and add content. You've got to come back and visit often if you want to stay up-to-date with all of the changes we have planned.
For the next couple of weeks work on the site will be limited to fixing small problems and adding content. But the Museum of Missing History doesn't stand still any more than the rest of the Web does and we will soon be making additions, changes, and upgrades.
But what is most important here are the stories of the missing pieces to the puzzle of history. Just by reading the entries in our Catalogue of Missing Objects (COMO) you are contributing. Be sure to learn about how you can make a donation to the museum or volunteer to help us out.
